Another successful BBEST year

Thanks to everyIMG_0634aone who attended the 2015 BBEST AGM on November 7th.  There was a great deal of interest in the plans so far and the discussion was rich with ideas and enthusiasm.  There were presentations of all of the 5 themes, listed buildings in the area, the potential to link Weston Park to Endcliffe Park with a green travel corridor, and ideas for a Broomhill community hub in Oriel House (home of the Broomhill Library).

The 5 theme groups will be starting to put together draft policies based on all the information & ideas gathered to date over the next few months. Your involvement is welcomed at any stage – get in touch at info@bbest.org.uk.

2014 AGM & Consultation

2014 AGM & Consultation

Please join us for a review & discussion on the five themes underlying the development of Our Neighbourhood Plan.  We will also discuss some of the capital Development Projects arising from these themes, treat you to some nuggets of social history relating to our local buildings, and have a peek at ideas for the library design.  This will be one of the last big events to discuss and agree what will be in the plan before the draft policies are developed, so make sure you are there!

Saturday, November 7th at Broomhill Methodist Church (next to Oxfam) 15:00-17:30

light refreshments provided, retiring to the pub afterward
