You are warmly invited to attend BBEST’s latest consultation meeting to discuss two of our themes: development and conservation and green and open spaces (for more on our working groups please click here).
The event will take place at Broomhill Library, 7-9pm, Tuesday 28th April, 2015 – everyone is welcome to come and help to steer the progress of our Neighbourhood Plan. A presentation on each theme will be followed by general discussion of policies and projects for inclusion in the draft Plan.
Development and Conservation
Following a presentation on the scope of this theme, items for discussion will include: how can the neighbourhood plan influence key development sites, enhancement of public spaces, designation of ‘community assets’.
Green and Open Spaces
The environmental consultancy ECUS will present surveys carried out for BBEST on green spaces, trees and green corridors. Areas for discussion include: guerilla gardening, parklets, regular maintenance of existing spaces, maintaining our trees.
If you are not able to come to the meeting you can send your views at any time to info@bbest.org.uk. The draft plan will be reviewed at the BBEST AGM in November 2015, with the vote for adoption of the final plan in 2016.
We look forward to seeing you on the 28th April and hearing your views!
